Heavy Weather

I was going to write something about the heavy weather looming off the west coast today (1/4 update: it's here and it's a mighty wind). But as it’s also Iowa caucus day, the deluge of political nonsense will probably drown out even poor Mutha Nature.

Did you get an email from Howard Dean today? His teaser subject was “Who I’m Supporting.”

Of course, as head of the machine he can’t – and doesn’t - endorse any one candidate; which is exactly the point of his message. He expects us all to also agree, right now – even before the first Iowa results come in - to support whatever Democratic candidate wins the primary.
