Taking a little break, after finishing chapt 4 (yes...more human characters - yay!).
I see, from the NaNoWriMo site, that of the 12,794 participants, I'm currently a semi-respectable # 1728. In the top 15 percentile, speedwise.

Of course, that could just mean everyone else isn't wasting time uploading their word counts and/or browsing around the nanowrimo site.
They're probably not even taking breaks.
Argh!
